Industrial HVAC Turning Vanes

Aero Dyne Turning Vanes & Rail were engineered for structural integrity, and projects with air velocities exceeding 3,000 fpm require a superior turning vane.  Although test results are unavailable for air velocities over 3,000 fpm, Industrial Design Engineers have specified Aero Dyne Turning Vanes for projects exceeding 3,000 fpm.

All feedback has been positive.  An engineer working on a high pressure project recently stated “We conducted testing on the exhaust duct this week and the vane performed very well.  Pushed it to the limits of our system and never had any issues with vibration.”

The precise aerodynamic design is developed through a 17-point roll-forming process using one piece of 26 gauge hot dipped galvanized steel.  The two continuous internal tubes used in fastening the vane to the rail provide stiffening and rigidity unmatched by any other product.

Single wall vanes need every sixth vane welded to the runner or need reinforcements attached for ducts running over 1000 fpm.   Standard double wall vanes lack positive fastening of the blades to the runner, requiring a tack weld at each end, and leaving the possibility of rattling or detaching.  Only Aero Dyne Turning Vanes use a screw fastening system that creates the most positive rigid fit available.
